Does anyone have a laptop running Windows that i could borrow for a few weeks?

It needs to have at least:
PC Pentium 4 processor (or AMD processor with similar benchmarks)
Microsoft Windows 2000 or Windows XP operating system
256 MB RAM
40GB Hard drive

I would need it this weekend, next weekend and possibly for a week around Thanksgiving...

You have a recent macbook, right? Parallels will give you a free month of trial. and then you can install windows in a window, essentially.

my mac is pretty old, though, and really full (and really slow...). and the software i need to use is pretty big. plus i have to be able to transfer the software license...

do you think it'll work?

Oh. I thought you had a newfangled one. If it's not an Intel mac, then it won't really work :/
