i know! poor idaho -- there's just nothing there! actually, i might have been there and i just can't remember... when i was 14 my family did a big driving trip through the rockies and yellowstone and the dakotas and then the canadian rockies, ending up in vancouver -- i'm pretty sure we didn't get to idaho, though we were fairly close (part of yellowstone is actually in idaho -- but yellowstone is a big, big park).

i also realized i must have been to indiana as well -- i drove to chicago when i was 4 years old (okay, my gradparents drove with me asleep in the back). i have very strong memories of chicago (which is why it gets to count as a state i've visited) but none of indiana. it was only after looking at the map than i realized i must have driven through it!

My US map is pretty sad. But my international map could be considered exotic! Need to travel more in the US (though I can check off two of the midwest states that you can't).

I've missed the whole center of the country! Argh! And some states I feel like I cheated by counting them--texas and nevada were just airport layovers. i guess I just need to go on some more vacations!
