Hopeful sighting...

You guys know i love winter -- but even i am ready for an end to the snow and some warmer temperatures. That's why i am very happy to report that i saw a robin on my way to lab this morning! There's hope!


Now when the primrose makes a splendid show,
And lilies face the March-winds in full blow,
And humbler growths as moved with one desire
Put on, to welcome spring, their best attire,
Poor Robin is yet flowerless; but how gay
With his red stalks upon this sunny day!
